College Education

Each year since 2004, we have offered two full scholarships a year to graduating high school students who either live in Masiphumelele or have attended Masiphumelele High School

Thembane (left) was our first scholar from Masiphumelele High School. He was awarded a scholarship to False Bay College to study Business Economics and here he is on his first day with his new books.
Thembane is wearing the formal clothes required of a young man just “back from the bush” after his initiation into manhood.
He is now working for an accounting firm as an intern and studying for his B.Com degree.

Zizipho

Zizipho (left) and Olwethu (right) are attending Cape Teknikon having won scholarships in 2006. Zizipho is studying Marketing and Olwethu mechanical engineering.
